The above diagram presents the physical structure of the integrated IoT system of a large shopping center. The owners of each shop as well as the owner of the building and its management and operators can monitor consumption of electricity, gas and water, relevant costs, quality of services, number customers and performance of other building automation systems in one operational center presenting holistic results, system statuses and support alarms and event cause analysis in real time. The results are calculated by the custom cyber-physical system model of the shopping center. The model was developed using PharosN IoT model builder tools and runs on its engine installed on the dedicated server on-premises of the shopping center linked to local connectivity networks.
